Donate
Beside the Line is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
Give Securely Online
Choose a one-time or monthly gift on our secure Zeffy donation page. You’ll get a tax receipt by email right away.
Zeffy doesn’t charge Beside the Line any fees. At checkout it asks for an optional tip to support its free service. You can set the tip to $0, and we still receive 100% of your gift.
For Your Tax Records
Every donor receives a written receipt with our EIN, 99-0581061. Many employers also need it to match your gift.
Where Gifts Go
Unrestricted gifts go to Beside the Line and support first responder families, including:
- Financial assistance for families facing hardship, reviewed and approved by our board
- Trainings and workshops for families, such as recognizing post-traumatic stress injury
- Community engagement, including family gatherings and chapter events
- Practical help when a family needs a hand, like meals or household support
- Keeping our resource map current and connecting families with the right support

Our Giving Policy

Before You Volunteer
All volunteers complete a background check and sign our volunteer code of conduct before serving.
